When I feel:
guilty Romans 8:1-2 says: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."
worried about my husband's salvation John 3:17 says, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save the world through Him." And 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
worried about my husband's behavior Romans 11:32 says, "For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that He may have mercy on them all." And Proverbs 19:21 says, "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."
worried about the salvation of our children Matthew 18:14 says, "In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost."
hopeless about my marriage Romans 8:28 tells us, "...we know in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
overburdened Jesus says to us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." And James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
life is unfair 1 Peter 5:6 tells us, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time."
dazed and confused Hebrews 4:16 says "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." And James 1:5 reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."
